LG Inform Plus web methods
1. Addition of text token to return the period of a metric type via a new return value type for the Value method (e.g. {=Value?metricType=XXX&returnValue=periodLabel }). Note that the Value method needs to be called twice in a sentence to return the actual value and its period label.
2. Ability to show the last updated date for values for a metric type, by extending the metricTypeMetadata method with a syntax of ‘{=metricTypeMetadata?metricType=1990&returnValue=dataLastUpdated}’.
3. Change to metricTypes method (verbose and for a single metric type) to return ‘(Provisional)’ or just ‘(P)’ after the label of the latest date period if the latest metric value has a publicationStatus of ‘provisional’.
4. Addition of text token web methods to return derived values and summary values.
5. Update to Compare text token to allow a comparison of a single metric type over multiple periods of time.
6. Modification to Compare text token to deal with comparison groups, e.g. by taking the mean (by default) or another specified summary value over areas where a comparison group is specified as the ‘with’ parameter.
7. Addition of a web method to return the geographic bounds of a selected area or group(s) of areas. Text token extensions can be added in the source view.
